Over the past few years the Haifa Music Center has launched intense and unique musical activities:

Establishing the Haifa Festival Orchestra
Comprised of Israel Philharmonic principal players and other top ranking Israeli principal players and soloists. Under the direction of Ada Pelleg, the HFO Ensemble has distinguished itself with an exceptionally beautiful string sound, the commitment of its players and its consistently high artistic standards. In its short history, the orchestra has already appeared in the "Carmel" festival and the "Columbia Festival of The Arts" in Columbia Maryland. Future performances are scheduled for London, Baltimore, Washington, D.C. and a new concert series in northern Israel.

Annual Chamber Music Concert series:
One of Israel's distinctive musical events, the series features top Israeli artists and world renowned artists such as violinists Miriam Fried (USA), violist Paul Bis (USA), Flautist Jacque Zoon (Holland), and Pianists Kzishtof Jablonsky (Poland-Canada) and Roman Lebidev (St. Petersburg).
Each concert is preceded by a short pre-concert lecture.
From the press:
"The Haifa Music Center's Concert series chooses its players with exquisite taste.... The program includes the most aristocratic chamber music.....

The Haifa International Music Festival - Jazz ,Classic & Ethnic
An annual event since 1998, the Haifa International Music Festival offers a variety of musical events including: orchestral and chamber music concerts, jazz and ethnic music, open rehearsals, master classes and lecures and co-productions with other art forms such as dance, theatre and architecture. One example included a unique presentation of Chopin's music performed from a stage designed as a Parisian Salon and with an actor reading Chopin's letters.
Artists from Israel, Europe, the USA and Asia participate in the event.
From the press:
A truly international music festival! A close look reveals some of the best players in Israel and guests from Europe, and even an ensemble created especially under the baton of Ada Pelleg.
The program is no less impressive. It radiates good taste and modesty and is surprisingly varied......Pelleg included two premieres: Syrian composer Nuri El-Ruheimbany's "Improvisation" for flute and harp and "In memoriam" for cello and piano by Israeli composer Hana Levi and vast repertoire ranging from Handel to Shnitke and from Haydn to American music.
A festival invested with a lot of care and uncompromising quality."
